“The Fate of the Furious” action film you’ve been waiting for and is almost a 9/10, sorry Roman you’re still #11

RATING: 9/10

STARS: 5/5

Intense cheers, tears, and and a room full of many emotions was what packed a Houston crowd that was part of the 8 on the 8th screening of The Fate of the Furious. From the Universal logo that opens the film to the one that closes it after the movie credits, the pun  “It was a hell of a ride” is not only fitting to the latest installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise it’s SPOT ON.

For a franchise that only gets better and better after each movie, The Fate of the Furious is not only going to knock you off your seat it’s literally going to past all your expectations, you had for the movie (I would put a pun about it passing all expectations but NAH). While I won’t let you know what exactly happens in the movie, because The Fate of the Furious is definitely a movie you need to experience from every twist and turn and wheel of emotions.

The Fate of the Furious is an action-packed movie that makes you realize why you go to the movies, to experience the brilliance of not only the cast, screenwriters, direction and effects that will knock you off your seat. The movie literally takes you on the journey from point A to Point B, from the story you saw in the trailers from Dom “going rogue” to his former team catching up to him. Not only is the movie filled with action-packed scenes and a whirlwind of emotions, the comedic and clever dialogue in action scenes just adds to the brilliance of the film.

#F8 as some are calling it definitely gets an honorary and most deserved 9/10 and 5 STARS, because the movie just takes you on a ride as the story progresses where you never want to leave your seat.

The brilliance of mixing F. Gary Gray direction, Chris Morgan’s writing and Stephen F. Windon’s cinematography with the Fast Family Cast members from the previous films with new additions Scott Eastwood and Hellen Mirren with the existing cast already blend in with the cast already.

You will also find yourself crying at how the film honors Paul Walker, in the most best way possible with simple nods and a heartfelt one that will leave you cheering. The movie filled with action-packed scenes that will leave you breathless and the recurring theme of family/friendship, a notable theme in the Furious Films is what makes the film.

Vin Diesel definitely delivered a phenomenal performance in the latest installment of the movie, along with the rest of the cast. And Charlize Theron, who makes an amazing villain with a very chilling performance in the film. And honorable mentions to Tyreee Gibson’s character always delivering the most hilarious scenes and a salute to Dwayne Johnson and Statham’s witty back a forth commentary whether it was each other or in other scenes. And of course Michelle Rodriquez’s character always kicking some type of ass whether it was in a car or fight scene. And Emmanuel and Hivju who also did great in the film and easing that Game of Thrones withdrawal, mostly Emmanuel because Ramsey is just a great to the team.

In last words, one of the best things about the movie is you really don’t expect what’s going to happen with the movie trailers in mind you literally have to hang on your seat because the one word to describe the movie is WOW. Every twist and turn the movie makes just proves, gives you the right feeling of why you go to the movies. If you loved 5,7,6 and the other Furious films Fate of the Furious will knock it off the park for being an action-filled masterpiece that will leave you wanting more, and wanting to see it again and again.

MAKE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE MOVIE APRIL 14, And thank you to Universal for making Houston a part of the 8 on 8th cities.

I’m definitely going to see this film, just to experience the IMAX and quality the movie should be experienced in.
